Orthopaedic Surgeries

We work with South West Surgical Referrals (SWSR) to enhance the surgical capabilities we offer at Penbode Pets. South West Surgical Referrals offer a mobile surgery service to Penbode Vets as well as a number of other practices in Devon and Cornwall. This allows us to treat a greater number of advanced surgical cases in our local practice, thus avoiding the need to travel to a referral centre.

Katie Lenton BVSc CertSAS MRCVS is the veterinary surgeon at SWSR. Katie qualified in 2001, worked in mixed then small animal practice, quickly developing an interest in all aspects of small animal surgery. She gained her Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2007 and became a RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery. She has many years experience in first opinion and referral practice.
