About the Series

As per 2019, all those who enter Young Handler Classes at the 2022 qualifying shows will accumulate points, regardless of where they finish! The points system is:

First 12

Second 8

Third 6

Fourth and after 2

So everyone has a chance of winning if they compete in more events!

The final qualifying events and presentations to the overall Junior and Senior Young Handler Series winners will take place at the Holsworthy & Stratton Show on Thursday 25th August.

Winners of the beef, dairy and sheep categories in both the Junior and Senior Young Handler Series will receive a cup and a sash. Those placed first, second and third in the Junior Series will receive Mole Valley Farmers vouchers worth £50, £25 and £15 respectively. Penbode Farm Vets will award cash prizes to the same value to the top three Senior Young Handler competitors.
