Our Bradworthy branch is based in Ashleigh House, which was purchased by descendents of the original practice founders, the Penhales, in 1960. In 2004 there was a fire which caused widespread smoke damage, but which enabled Penbode to completely restructure the interior to the layout you see today. Unfortunately it did mean working out of the garage at the back of the property for six months over winter!
