Mark Nelson Vets was launched by Mark and his father, Michael Nelson, in 1982. Some of our clients have been with us since those early days, and our commitment to providing quality veterinary care in an approachable atmosphere hasn’t changed.
In both practices we have great facilities and passionate teams who love to look after your dogs, cats and other small animals.
We want to help your pet to have a healthy, happy life in the cheapest, friendliest and most open way that we can. If that sounds like your kind of vets, get in touch with our team to find out more.
Everybody wants their pets to lead long, healthy, happy lives. But at the same time, veterinary care can become expensive and worrisome.
That’s why our Pet Health Plan is the best way to support your pet’s health while saving money.
Routine treatments and vaccinations should be a part of a healthy pet’s life, and we will meet your pet yearly to administer them. As a member of our Pet Health Plan, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that this care is covered.
The plan is open for all cats and dogs, and breaks down the cost of routine veterinary services to a monthly direct debit. Included are a range of preventative health services including annual vaccinations, flea and worm control and health check-ups, as well as discounts on a range of services, and even pet food.
If you want to find out more about our Pet Health Plan, explore our site, or contact our team who will be happy to help.
Both of our branches in Thornton Heath and Westerham are modern, well-equipped veterinary practices designed to allow us to take the best care of your pets possible while keeping both them and yourselves comfortable during your visit with us.
Consultations are available by appointment, for vaccinations, routine health checks, monitoring of long term conditions, and for animals who are unwell. Please contact the team to arrange an appointment in advance as we do not accept walk-ins to prevent pets becoming stressed while hanging around the practice.
We have advanced diagnostic facilities in-house including x-ray, ultrasound and blood pressure monitoring equipment, cutting down costs and waiting times for our clients and patients. The same goes for our in-house lab. Should your pet require surgery our practice is well-equipped, including state-of-the-art anaesthetic machines, and even electrically warmed surgery tables.
We can also help with concerns ranging from pet travel certificates to allow you to safely take your pet abroad, to advice on dietary, behavioural and flea and worm problems.
All of our dedicated team are here to help, and love nothing more than happy patients and clients!
