Tom Foster

BVM BVS BVMedSci(Hons) CertAVP MRCVS Managing Clinical Director

Tom graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2012, and begun the first two years of his veterinary career as a small animal practitioner in a busy Nottinghamshire clinic. After a period of travelling and voluntary work at animal charities in Thailand and Indonesia, Tom began work as a locum vet in clinics across Australia and the UK. From 2016, Tom was based in a small animal practice in Lancashire, becoming their Clinical Director. More recently, Tom returned to the UK from a year as Senior Veterinary Surgeon for a practice in Bermuda, and has joined Jenny and James as Managing Clinical Director at Woodcroft.

In 2020, Tom completed an RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, and hopes to further study to become an Advance Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.

Tom lives with his wife, Charlotte in Manchester, who both look forward to moving closer to the countryside and having a dog (and maybe some chickens!). Outside of work, Tom enjoys rugby, triathlon and travelling.
