David Tymms

David graduated from Liverpool in 2004. He initially worked in a busy mixed practice in Preston, before giving up on farm animal work (after breaking his back whilst calving a cow in 2008 - ouch!)

He joined Woodcroft in 2010 and gained his surgery certificate in 2015. Alongside soft tissue surgery, he is responsible for emergency and critical care at the hospital.

David lives with his wife, two young children, a cat, a hamster and ten stick insects. They enjoy spending time outdoors, including camping and foraging for tasty mushrooms and plants.
